My Morning Labs

We find that the best way to learn is through carrying out fun projects. Language Lab groups are organised according to the results of placement tests taken at the start of camp, and according to age for Maths and Science. Language labs are designed for students who are learning the chosen language. So if you are a native English- or French-speaker, it’s best to choose another subject.

Choose 2 from the following Labs:

English Forever

A varied programme designed to help you apply your knowledge to a wide range of topics and themes, communicate better with your new international friends or refine your creative writing skills.

A double Lab of English Forever is provided for complete beginners only.

In Love with French

Native speaking teachers with a passion for their language and literature will help you develop your language skills with clarity and confidence. An ideal opportunity to explore new learning themes while at the same time improving your grammar and vocabulary.

Mad Maths

Our Maths lessons are taught through fun, varied and interactive lessons. Great for getting ahead for the coming school year! Lessons are offered in English.

Science Explorers

Each day we’ll leave the classroom behind to explore a new topic in our beautiful surroundings.

Lessons are offered in English.

Our pedagogical model

Our teachers plan their lessons according to project-based methodologies, whether in the English, French, Maths or Science labs.

Throughout the camp, students work as a class or in smaller teams, to finalise themed projects which are presented at the End of Camp Ceremony. These presentations can range from videos to podcasts, artwork, demonstrations or activities. During past summers, students have made their own cheese, eco-friendly toothpaste, map reading challenges, city guides, a news show, stop motion videos, story-telling and written their own poems...

The benefit of learning through projects is that students apply their new subject knowledge in a practical and fun way. The result is engaging with the study material using all senses and ways of learning (listening, talking, reading, writing, sharing). This model also allows different subjects to work on a common project, such as Maths and French, which often leads to captivating results.
